Like all ASP lights, the Scribe DF is designed for real-world simplicity and single-handed use, with all light modes accessible via a single tail switch: A half press turns the light on in momentary mode, a full press\/click sets it to constant-on. Our Double Tap feature activates a low, 15 lumen setting with just a quick second press of the same switch.  The Scribe DF is built to the same professional law enforcement standards as the full-size Duty Lights, and packs an extraordinary amount of technology into its slim chassis. A constant current circuit board drives a Cree XPG LED, pushing bright, white light through a mirror polished reflector and optical glass lens. The heat generated by the Scribe's high power and performance is managed by a thermal control system. The recharging system includes a protected micro-USB port and a tri-color charge status\/battery capacity indicator.
