Our commitment to accessibility

Code 4 Uniforms Inc is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We want every customer, including the law enforcement, fire, EMS, military, and security professionals we serve, to be able to browse, shop, and contact us with ease.

Conformance target

We are working to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines are the recognized standard for web accessibility and the benchmark used under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Our website substantially conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, and we are actively working to address the remaining items.

What we have done

  • Audited the website against WCAG 2.2 Level AA, covering color contrast, keyboard operation, screen reader support, forms, and motion.
  • Added descriptive alternative text to product images so that screen reader users can understand them.
  • Made sure links, buttons, and form fields have clear labels and a visible keyboard focus indicator.
  • Provided a way to pause moving content and honored reduced motion preferences.
  • Improved text and color contrast to make content easier to read.

Compatibility

Our website is designed to work with current versions of major browsers, including Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, and with assistive technologies such as screen readers and screen magnifiers. Because accessibility also depends on the technology you use, older browsers or assistive tools may affect your experience.

Known limitations
