The Caldwell Magnum Rifle Gong is made of AR-550 steel to provide unsurpassed target durability, capable of withstanding nearly all center-fire rifle and handgun cartridges. Mill certified hardness of 550 Brinell (HBW) for AR-550 and 500 Brinell for AR-500 targets. Specialized 'Through-Hardening' achieved from proprietary quenching and tempering processes.
